Kent Berry, CPA
Kent has extensive experience in corporate, partnership and individual taxation of private companies and high net worth individuals. He coordinates and manages tax compliance and tax consulting service engagements, focusing on real estate and family offices. Kent has over 30 years of experience serving pass-through entities, corporate restructuring, corporate bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, tax accounting methods, state and local taxes and managing tax controversy matters. In addition, Kent also has substantial experience in serving real estate developers, specializing in Multi-Family Real Estate Development and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. Kent has been active in various civic organizations in Jacksonville. He is the past Chairman of Childrens Home Society and also served as treasurer and several other key positions in the organization. Kent obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida. Kent is a member of both the AICPA and FICPA.
